Sections

According to art. 26, paragraph 7 of the Statute and art. 8 of the Department Regulations, the Department of Education, Languages, Intercultures, Literatures and Psychology is divided into the following sections: Pedagogy, Educational and Formative Studies, Psychology, Modern and Comparative Literatures, Intercultural Studies and Linguistic and Oriental Studies. The sections do not have management autonomy. Each professor or researcher can promote or be a part of only one section, however this does not preclude the possibility of collaborating with other sections.

The adhesion of professors and researchers to single sections is deliberated by the Department Council according to art. 8, paragraph 2, of the Departmental Regulations, and can be subsequently modified upon motivated request by the interested professor. Each section, within the whole of the department and its purposes, and in close functional connection with the other sections, retains research autonomy as guaranteed to individual professors.
